I& #39;ve been your son for 45 years and not one time in these past four years have either of you stopped to consider that I just might have a valid point concerning this President and this Administration with the information I have shared.

You haven& #39;t heard me or given me so much as the benefit of the doubt EVEN ONCE in all this time despite the fact that I& #39;ve been someone you could trust for nearly a half century.
I could tell you stories.

Stories of meeting a Military Analyst or a former NSA/Naval Security Group expert or an Ebola expert, teachers, lawyers, scientists, a documentary filmmaker, reading dogged reporters who work tirelessly to get a story right & so many of things I& #39;ve learned these past 4 yrs.

But I won& #39;t. Because you won& #39;t hear it. And you won& #39;t have it. Not one negative word about this President or this Administration. So I won& #39;t share those things but my TL has plenty of the receipts.
Instead, I& #39;ll simply share two stories more familiar to you.

The first is when I was at college. Grandpa Henry died. And I started going to that church. You& #39;ll recall telling me how you couldn& #39;t say anything about it because you were concerned doing so might drive me away.

And my friends ended up talking to me about how very changed I was & they through listening & showing compassion helped me thru that period. It was a brief time in my life but I learned that sometimes truth however painful needs to be said even at risk of the relationship.

Mike, Matt and the rest of my friends all helped me find my way and they could have lost their relationship with me through their actions but they didn& #39;t. I will never forget what they did for me.

The 2nd story was when I was married to E-M. I went thru that period & only after papers served & divorce proceedings well underway w/no chance of reconciliation did I learn how many ppl felt she was so wrong for me yet no one felt they could say a thing b4 we were married.

Unlike the church story, for this one, I was on my own.
Of the two stories, I know the one I prefer. And I have found information and people to guide me these past 4 yrs & I have provided some of what I have learned to you & others.

It& #39;s my attempt to be like my friends in the 1st story. So that you& #39;ll never look at me & ask, "Why didn& #39;t you tell me?". I& #39;ve tried so many times. Email, FB, texts, phone. None of it successful to move you even an inch toward my viewpoint or understanding of events.

What& #39;s more, other people besides just me are trying to tell you and others the same story.
That this President is unfit.
His Administration is awash with corruption and criminality.

And in pushing bad information on the public, he is leading our teachers and our children and our communities into a dangerous situation that will be terrible for all of us.
No help is coming with this Administration.
No plans.
No deferring to expertise or science.

And if you vote for him in November, nothing will change.
Say what you will about Joe Biden, he didn& #39;t steer this country into a ditch in his 8 years serving alongside President Obama.

And if you saw Joe& #39;s speech Thursday night, you& #39;d be reminded of what real leaders look like.
And make no mistake.
We& #39;re headed into an even bigger ditch if u reelect President Trump. It& #39;s fully possible u won& #39;t even be able to safely hug your grandkids or me again.

Because there& #39;s no plan that will emerge from this Administration.
I& #39;m sure as the clock winds down, he& #39;ll tout a miracle cure or a vaccine just around the corner but only if he wins or some other such nonsense.
Some may yet believe it.
But he& #39;s an inveterate liar.

No matter what comes, know this.
You are not my enemy.
You never have been.

I want what& #39;s best for this country.
And that means putting country above party.
That means rejecting the lies.
