A few thoughts on my cooking.
1) it’s fun for me- meaning I do not stress over it.
2) store bought and brand are actually fine. I usually have spendy olive oil though.
3) cheese is best shredded fresh but I don’t feel like it so
4) I never judge convenience. 1/4

5) I learned how to make a lot of shit with things I can buy at corner stores. Grocery stores aren’t always an option.
6) effort always counts.
7) Mistakes happen. Some can be fixed. Some are funny failures. Don’t beat yourself up.

8) Taste is more important than plating, but it’s fun if it’s pretty.
9) I usually line my slow cooker bc scrubbing it sucks.
10) I taste as it goes, as I have created some horrifyingly salty disasters.
12) I don’t take myself seriously. 3/4

It’s not in the picture- but I use a lot of garlic and herbs (some fresh, some dry. Whatever is available is fine.) And wine, some even makes it into the food. 4/4
