I'm going to say this now. You can feel how you wanna feel about it. A healthy Ken Griffey Jr. is a flat out better player than Mike Trout. Don't give me some talk about stats without acknowledging Griffey's injuries.

Griffey changed the game.

Trout is a tremendous player. He is a hall of famer right now. He is not the defensive player Ken Griffey Jr. was. Griffey could beat you in every phase of the game. Again, we are talking about prime and healthy Ken Griffey Jr.

One more thing about Griffey: he was going to break Aaron's home run record if he stayed healthy. It was almost a guarantee. That is how good he was. And he did it as a CF. He was the best defensive outfielder with generational level power. Come on.
