Now more than ever, my loves, it's important to do the things that keep us and our loved ones safe. The messaging is garbled, the people leading us are doing so with a bad example, but we *know* what to do...
*Reduce contacts
*Wash hands
*Keep distance
*Wear masks where needed
*Be extra careful around vulnerable people.
None of that advice has changed.
You're sensible people, use your judgment honestly.

And can I ask you a favour? If you've decided to use that judgment to justify hugging and hanging out of your non-household pals while having a party or a meet up, singing and shouting at people from two (droplet-flecked) feet away, please don't post that shit on social media.
You're giving the others the impression that "everyone else is doing it so it's ok" and we'll be killing our grannies again before we know it.
Just.... A tiny little speck of self-awareness please. Our representatives might not be able to figure out what breaches best practice, but we can. Best of luck my friends. It's going to be a frustrating few weeks
And PS - end direct provision, improve employment conditions for covid vulnerable workers, and mind your shop workers and delivery drivers. Ok bye.
