Now more than ever, my loves, it& #39;s important to do the things that keep us and our loved ones safe. The messaging is garbled, the people leading us are doing so with a bad example, but we *know* what to do...
*Reduce contacts
*Wash hands
*Keep distance
*Wear masks where needed
*Be extra careful around vulnerable people.
None of that advice has changed.
You& #39;re sensible people, use your judgment honestly.
And can I ask you a favour? If you& #39;ve decided to use that judgment to justify hugging and hanging out of your non-household pals while having a party or a meet up, singing and shouting at people from two (droplet-flecked) feet away, please don& #39;t post that shit on social media.
You& #39;re giving the others the impression that "everyone else is doing it so it& #39;s ok" and we& #39;ll be killing our grannies again before we know it.
Just.... A tiny little speck of self-awareness please. Our representatives might not be able to figure out what breaches best practice, but we can. Best of luck my friends. It& #39;s going to be a frustrating few weeks
And PS - end direct provision, improve employment conditions for covid vulnerable workers, and mind your shop workers and delivery drivers. Ok bye.
