Old Etonian Dumfriesshire farmer @Jamie_Blackett seems confident there will be "a government of national unity" after the Scottish parliamentary elections in May 2021. I'm confused about his role though.

Jamie Blackett outlines his career: Eton, Coldstream Guards, farming, writing about rural affairs for Torygraph. He's also written several books. A man in love with a version of Britain that no longer exists and patronising and venomous about "separatists"

As The Times's Mike Wade points out, Jamie Blackett comes across as "a gentle man at ease with life" but as soon as he gets onto the topic of Nicola Sturgeon or the people he calls "separatists", he becomes belligerent or, as I would put it, almost deranged.
