BREAKING: China urges the Philippines to 'immediately stop illegal provocations,' following a diplomatic protest filed by Manila on Chinese Coast Guard's confiscation of Filipino fishermen's devices and issuance of radio challenges at aircraft patrolling the West PH Sea.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian says it is lawful for China to conduct law enforcement in Scarborough, and that the Philippines violates its sovereignty and security by sending military aircraft over the Spratlys and reefs garrisoned by Chinese forces.
