Cops en masse don't chase a guy just because he has a knife. EVERYONE IN SOUTH LA HAS A KNIFE!

Said guy does not continue to walk away despite being mobbed by cops ordering him to stop. Said guy does not try to enter an occupied building after all that.

A guy with a knife is an IMMINENT THREAT to everyone in that building. That he made it to the door before he was shot is a sign of police RESTRAINT, not bRuTaLiTy or murder.
