seriously though, i hate how often i'm made to feel gross by white people because of the way my hair works differently than my white friends'. i started perming it a few years ago just cause i couldnt deal with caring for it and all of the weird shit that white people would say +

and when they would touch me hair without asking. i do enjoy having it permed but i still have people asking "ohh, is that your real hair? is that a wig? is that weave?" and i know i'm not the only black kid that's gone through that. do better. jeez...
