For my friends out there who are still Feelin' the Bern and not yet committed to Ridin' with Biden:

I was an ardent Bernie supporter, deeply frustrated at our loss to Hillary, devastated by the loss to Joe. However, over the last few months, it has become abundantly clear that
Joe Biden is absolutely the person this country desperately needs going forward from this unique moment in our nation's story. No other candidate has been so demonstratively capable of bringing together the broadest spectrum of American ideals. His kindness and empathy for others
has permeated every aspect of his lifetime of service to our country. Throughout his life in the public eye, we have witnessed his endurance of multiple horrendous personal tragedies. The strength and grace with which Joe Biden meets a challenge is exactly what our country needs
in order to meet the challenges facing us now on myriad levels. The Trump administration's abysmally incompetent response to Covid-19 has taken so many lives, and left so many others devastated. The socioeconomic disparities which have long plagued America have been exacerbated
and brutally exploited against the most vulnerable among us.
We have seen blatant racism increasingly accepted and justified by the right wing in the past three and a half years. The scourge of white supremacy, long relegated to shadowy corners of the internet, has emerged again
on the streets of our cities.Aid to American citizens devastated by natural disasters and by the coronavirus has been delayed and denied based upon Trump's view of a regional political leaning. These things must be unacceptable in 2021 America.

As I said, I once had high hopes
for a Sanders presidency. The hope for universal healthcare and a leader whose compassion and integrity I found to be nearly beyond reproach fueled an exciting movement in our country, and I believe that Joe Biden has been listening to us.We might not achieve universal healthcare
during the Biden-Harris administration. It's time, Bernie Bros, to make peace with that. We can and will continue to fight for that worthy goal. But now is the time to look beyond that. We must heal the damage that Trump and the GOP have done to our society and to our economy.
We have so much work to do going forward. Climate change, civil rights, true equality for women, PoC, and the lgbtq+ community, healthcare accessibility, education, disaster recovery, and a host of other issues that I believe are integral to our passion for Bernie are
truly front and center for Joe Biden as well. Bernie supports his friend and will continue to work with him on these issues that we hold so dear. Biden will confront the challenge with the most qualified team in the world by his side, including Sanders, Obama, and even former
Republicans. This unity behind Biden has already been unprecedented. It is evidence of our true American spirit, and it will be what pulls our country out of this nightmare to regain our status on the world stage like never before.
For all of you who are the kind of people who
wanted the future envisioned by Bernie... We cannot have Bernie. But we don't need him in order to do what needs to be done here and now. We need Joe Biden. Please, join with me and millions of others. Take pride in being part of THIS historic movement. Vote #BidenHarris2020.
