Hmmm a weekend at L3 means no flying so the next best thing is model aeroplane making. Would anyone be interested in a thread on how that’s done?
OK so which of these should it be?
@Airfix has been making model kitsets since 1949 and made their first aircraft (a Spitfire!) in 1955. Some of the kits they sell today date back to the 1960s, but these ones are all from the last 10 years or so.
An unassembled, unpainted kit like one of those costs $25-40. A big one like the Shackleton here will cost you more than $100
