Since I’ve been getting a lot of attention due to my hospitalization I just wanted to say a few things in a short thread about how fortunate I am and how we really should pray for everyone around us as well

I have EDS which made me susceptible to a rarer strain of a common infection, this has caused bloody diarrhea, inability to eat and drink, nausea, pancreatitis and a few other things that have forced me to be admitted to the hospital.

In spite of all this, I am very...

2/?
...fortunate. My family is well off and we have good insurance, I didn’t have to worry about serious economic repercussions. The hospital I am going to has specialized departments just for my genetic condition and has a great amount of expertise. This shouldn’t be taken...

3/?
...for granted. This is really a true blessing, one that many people cannot have. I am certain around the world there are others, our brothers and sisters, both within and out of the church who are in the same situation or much worse.

4/?
I just had my nurse come in and increase my pain medication, but how many people could never have that option for comfort? How many people couldn’t even see a doctor due to various factors? Christ has really blessed me in this and I want to say one thing really...

5/?
...concretely. That if you are praying for me, I am first off praying for you and everyone else who needs prayers. But at the same time when you keep me in your thoughts please pray for those less fortunate. Those who are hungry, sick, and in pain but don’t have anyone to...

6/?
...care for them. So please, pray for me but also pray for others. I feel as though it is very important for me to stress that.

I can now feel some medication in me, and I feel I articulated myself well enough in this mini thread.

God Bless, Pray Hope and don’t Worry
