Molly Martin has been missing for a week and the RCMP give a "our hands are tied" response about issuing an amber alert because a 14 year old indigenous girl went "willingly" with a 47 year old man. Her community is out looking for her every day. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/missing-teen-cape-breton-search-rcmp-1.5693210">https://www.cbc.ca/news/cana...
The emergency alert was sent only to a small area, and it was sent at half past midnight when most people were in bed. Because that was as soon as possible, after almost a week of people begging for an amber alert, which they didn& #39;t get.
About a week ago in PEI, a woman in her 30s jokingly yelled out the car window to a friend "I& #39;m being abducted," someone saw it and thought she was a 12 year old, and an amber alert was issued for an unidentified child with no other information https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/prince-edward-island/pei-amber-alert-misunderstanding-summerside-1.5690708">https://www.cbc.ca/news/cana...
