Did">https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/1... BLM protestors burn down churches? No. No evidence of this beyond some incredibly speculative headlines and articles. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/12119884/churches-burned-black-lives-matter-protests/">https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/1211... & https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jul/15/black-lives-matter-protesters-turn-rage-churches-r/">https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020... & https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8443907/Eric-Trump-calls-Black-Lives-Matter-protesters-animals-taking-cities.html">https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti... https://twitter.com/goodbadrugby/status/1296177075259428865">https://twitter.com/goodbadru...
If Billy Vunipola doesn’t want to take a knee that’s his choice. But he shouldn’t be allowed to spread false information without being challenged on it.
I’ve no doubt he wasn’t intentionally spreading false information and has just been sucked in by misleading headlines. But that’s even more reason for him to have been challenged on what he said.
Also Billy Vunipola’s (and Israel Folau’s) interpretation of God’s Word is only one interpretation. There are many readings of the Bible which say God is cool with LGBTQ people and relationships https://www.hrc.org/resources/what-does-the-bible-say-about-homosexuality">https://www.hrc.org/resources...
