Next up, it's a thread of six new works that dropped tonight: 2 cuff bracelets in different styles and 4 simple gemstone rings.
First up is the larger cuff, called "When the Flowers Dance": http://wingssilverwork.com/when-the-flowers-dance-anticlastic-cuff-bracelet-575/. Hand-milled sterling silver, hand-forged with anticlastic shaping. It GLOWS.
The second cuff is also solid sterling silver, also glowing, and it suits its name perfectly. This is "The Arc of the Light": http://wingssilverwork.com/the-arc-of-the-light-cuff-bracelet-385/. Heavy-gauge, hand-milled, but designed for a small wrist.
The first of the four rings is a personal favorite, with an unbelievably luminous jade focal cabochon. This is "Firefly Glow": http://wingssilverwork.com/firefly-glow-ring-325/. Sterling silver and jade, and look at that second shot:
The second is also built around greens, but of a very different sort. This is "The Jewel On the Vine": http://wingssilverwork.com/the-jewel-on-the-vine-ring-325/. Look at the underside of the band to see the origin of the name:
The third is another favorite, because the stone is extraordinary. This is "The Flowering of the Sun": http://wingssilverwork.com/the-flowering-of-the-sun-ring-325/. Sterling silver and why, yes, that IS tiger's eye, and no, there's no banding, all chatoyance. Looks EXACTLY like the poppy petals on the band.
The fourth of the rings features another phenomenal stone, one that's been on ice on his workbench for years. This is "Braided Skies": http://wingssilverwork.com/braided-skies-ring-325/. Sterling silver band with an Art Deco feel; delicately flawless blue lace agate cabochon.
I should add here that all of these are SOLID. The sterling silver bands vary in width and shape and pattern, but they're all a fairly substantial gauge of sterling silver. They're also all sizeable.
You can order any of them (cuffs, rings, ALL of them if you like!) via the form here: http://wingssilverwork.com/contact/ .
