so I was restricted for 7 days, as my big ass comeback tweet, here we go:

BISEXUAL WOMEN CAN SAY THE D WORD, A THREAD!
if you're actually interested in getting educated about this topic then take your time to read this thread, if you're just here to ratio me, to spam or annoy me, fuck off, nobody needs your negativity! :)
so firstly the myth that the d word was used against lesbians for their lack of attraction to men is historically actually wrong! the d word as used against every women that was gnc/not feminine presenting since 1921 (if I remember correctly), it also was used against every +
woman that had same gender/sex attraction overall. it historically was used against bisexual women just as much as against lesbians, both were opressed and insulted with that word ever since it was invented to harm. that it was only used against lesbians for their lack of +
attraction to men was a myth invented in 1987 (or even later, I'm not sure)! the d slur has been used against women with same gender/sex attraction was before that though, when wlw relationships were still illegal and punished with death the women used to be called the d word +
while being killed, it was a form of showing they're "disgusting" and during that time seen as "scum" or also "mentally sick"! there isn't much history about this that's factually confirmed but ever since the d word was used as a slur it was used against lesbians and bisexual +
women equally. both sexualities have faced the same form of opression for same gender attraction and the same usage of slurs against them. it was used against them because they both experienced same gender/sex attraction and at that time it wasn't acceptable to not fit into the +
heterosexual(/-romantic)-norm. bisexual women did have straight passing privilege as long as they kept completely quiet and silent about their same gender attraction. as soon as they were open about it they'd be just as opressed (publicly), attacked and insulted, etc. as +
lesbians.

and again, bisexuality was seen as its sexuality, psychology wise, in the 1970s (factually proven), the d word was used against every women who was attracted to women since 1921. the slur has been used against all wlw, not only lesbians to harm, opress, insult, etc. +
bisexual people where treated like lesbians (or gay men) as soon as they were open about their same gender attraction. even after it's been confirmed as its own sexuality, there was a lot of stigmatization around bisexuality still. bisexual women have the highest rate (nowadays)+
of sexual trauma, sexual abuse, rape and discrimination based of their sexuality. bisexual women nowadays, and factually back then too, have faced more opression based on their sexuality then any other sexuality. lesbians and bisexual women both have been and are opressed for +
experiencing same gender attraction. bisexual women habe the exact same right and power to reclaim the d slur. it's been used against them just as much as against lesbians.
the definition of the d word says "slur against lesbians", I am obviously aware of that but the definition+
of lesbian (ever since the d word was used as a slur) included every women that experiences same gender attraction, therefore including bisexual women historically. bisexuality was seen as its own sexuality way after that, even after it's been proven as it's in sexuality the +
d slur still affected, opressed and attacked bisexual women just the same as lesbians. bisexual women historically have the full right to reclaim that slur.

if you're gonna disagree, gladly shut up and fuck off, your ignorant and biphobic opinion isn't needed.
