— Attack on Titan foreshadowing and small details that was actually a huge aspect of the story

Let’s start with the very first chapter. We see Eren dreaming & when he woke up, he straight up told Mikasa when did her hair get so long & he also cried afterwards. This already foreshadows eren getting the founding titan & that his dream was actually a glimpse of the future

In episode 4 (chapter 17 in the manga) when Annie and Eren were sparring, there was a split second where Annie covered the back of her neck (female titan hint? )

Ever since the first few eps in s1, there were already a lot of hints of the warrior trio (annie, reiner and bertholdt)

In the OVA (Ilse’s Notebook), there was a titan who talked and called ilse “ymir-sama” which actually looked like one of ymir’s followers from back then. It was also a hint about the titans’ true nature.

Season 1 op 2, we can see armin covered in blood and since titan blood evaporates, it might be a foreshadowing of the blood of his friends that were killed and those he will kill in the future. (The lyrics “even if i’m the last one standing” proves it)

In ed 2, we can see annie, reiner, bertholdt, ymir & historia on the other side of the wall opposite to the others. A foreshadowing that these are the members of the 104th cadets that have something to hide and aren’t living the actual truth.

In the female titan arc, armin told jean and reiner to put their hoods up so that the female titan would not recognize them but before reiner attacked the female titan, he removed his hood. Also, we can see annie smiling at reiner. (the hints were everywhere )

This part in ed 2 really foreshadowed eren having the founding titan.
