a household where they experienced a loving family. Carla and Grisha looking out for Eren, and Mikasa& #39;s parents adore her so much. Even if it& #39;s just in a short amount of time, both know what it feels like to be all warm and secured.

But unfortunately, their “𝓗𝓸𝓶𝓮” was snatched away from them suddenly that leaves them no choice to conclude that there is no place for them to return any more.
and 𝓜𝓲𝓴𝓪𝓼𝓪 having to experience losing both families, left her heart scarred. It leads her to fulfill Carla& #39;s promise that both of them must help each other whenever they are in trouble.
Surely this is one of the main reasons why Mikasa is keen on protecting Eren. Eren is the only source for her to feel that warmth, light, and security again. The scarf that Eren gave her is the one that gave her hope to humanity and that, in this world, it& #39;s not all cruelty.
𝓜𝓲𝓴𝓪𝓼𝓪& #39;𝓼 new purpose is to protect Eren and to be with him always. She uses her strength and would go any lengths to get stronger just to protect the only family she has left. As Mikasa says, "Eren, as long as you& #39;re with me I can do anything!"
From the very beginning, it is clear that Mikasa has feelings for Eren. The viewers see her feelings as "romantic feelings," but as for Mikasa, she might have conflict with her feelings towards Eren. The difference between familial love and romantic love is all confusing to her
which is why she always made herself clear whenever someone mistook them as a couple. Or it could be she knows that her romantic feelings for Eren would get in the way- especially when the war is going around and thinks that what Eren needs right now is protection and support of+
a family.
𝓜𝓲𝓴𝓪𝓼𝓪& #39;𝓼 desires to have a family where she can return too. Seeing her losing Eren so many times is heartbreaking.
For her, 𝓔𝓻𝓮𝓷 is the only home she will ever return to... No matter where he is. :((
