Let& #39;s start with the first song Jimin said he wrote the lyrics for. The original is by Justin Bieber (Mistletoe) but Jimin wrote new lyrics in Korean and recored the song together with Jungkook. Their version ended up being called "Christmas Day"

What Tae said here shines even more light on the fact that Jimin was struggling heavily with his own self image from pre-debut to 2014 (the "ayo nega nugu" joke was from their The Red Bullet tour). He was insecure & not having any songs to express himself with only made it worse.
So not only did Jimin make the first guide for the "August D-Jimin live collab" version of Tony Montana but he also wrote the melody for "Blood, Sweat & Tears".

Jimin& #39;s demo tape for Fake Love. This version had a bit of a darker vibe than the final song and Namjoon even shared his own demo tape which sounded like it had a similar vibe. However Jimin is not credited as a co-producer on this track (no idea why).

Finally, Jimin gets the job of "project manager of music" for the new album that they& #39;re producing themselves. It was Yoongi& #39;s idea to put Jimin in charge of this role so he could get "closer to the music".

Yoongi is literally the biggest JM enthusiast. He wrote "People" and wanted it to be a Jimin solo song. This idea was rejected by the company so he just included the song on his own mixtape.
