16 Aug: Pir Mahal, Punjab Police arrested an Ahmadi businessman for offering animal sacrifice on Eid al-Adha and registered a case against him under Section 298-C that prescribes up to 3 years imprisonment for Ahmadis who poses themselves as Muslims

17 Aug: Talhar, Badin, Sindh: Deobandi activists file blasphemy case, under Sections 295-A and 298-A, against a Shia guy for allegedly insulting the Prophet's Companions on Facebook.

19 Aug: Gujranwala, Punjab. Blasphemy case registered under Section 295-C, that mandates death penalty, against a guy who allegedly insulted Allah and the Prophet in public. The accused has been arrested.

24 Aug: Waqar Zaka ( @ZakaWaqar) has registered a FIR against Marvi Sirmed ( @marvisirmed) under Basphemy section 295-A over Sirmed's tweet.

17 Aug: Lahore, Man killed in the name of Blasphemy. Azam of Minchanabad has been killed by fellow gunmen Jamat Ali of Shahdara Lahore after allegedly making the reason of blasphemy by him.
