i wanna make a thread with information abt whats going on in colombia regarding the young people and minors, so here it is:

just in the past 10 days:
-9 people murdered in Samaniego
-5 black people (between the ages of 14-18) murdered in Cali
-2 minors murdered in Nariño
-2 indigenous people murdered in Corinto

CALI: on august 11th, the bodies of 5 afrocolombian minors were found in a cane crop, all of them between the ages of 12 and 16; their bodies had signs of torture and one of them had been beheaded.
the neighborhood in which this occured is very poor, most of the families that live there are afrocolombian and have been displaced due violence and armed conflict, many of them have acquired their houses thanks to aids and government policies
the motive and perpetrator of the murders is still unknown, but some people think that the police might be involved.
two days after the masacre occured, during the victims' wake, there was a granade attack thrown at a police station nearby that left in 15 people wounded, the offender is yet unknown.
NARIÑO: two minors where on their way from their village to their local school to get internet access and send in their homework, along the way they were murdered by an illegal armed group, though it is yet not clear which one it was.

it is worth noting that another minor (a 15yo girl) that went to the same school had also been murdered a month before these events, by another illegal armed group.

at the moment of the arrest, the police officers didnt correctly follow the protocol so the detention was technically illegal and they had to set free the aggressor and now he cant be held responsible.

his name was campo elías benavides i forgot to add that 
on the morning of the same day, in the opposite side of the village, 26yo yesica zúñiga was also murdered, her body was found on the side of the road. these events are supposedly unrelated to the other masacre that occured on the same day.
CORINTO, CAUCA: august 13th, around 11am an indigenous community was attacked by the national army, they destroyed crops and shanty houses and proceeded to start a shooting, which resulted in 2 dead indigenous men and many injured.

VISTAHERMOSA, META: a group of farmers was reuniting with a ONU committee to discuss about land division and the peace agreement.
the meeting had to be stopped because there was an explosion nearby, the police reports it was set off by FARC but the community denies it.

it wasn't FARC because the national army has been threatening the community to get rid of all illicit crops, but they cannot do that until they are given an alternative, which hasnt happened because the government has breached the peace deal.
all of these masacres occured in LESS THAN 8 DAYS! they are murdering us, our youth, our farmers, our indigenous communities and we need to do something. and that is not all, there has been an incredible amount of violence these past few days too, i will try to add it down below

VALLEDUPAR: valentino silva, a 19yo bisexual man, was victim of a machete attacked that resulted in his death.
according to witnesses three men arrived to where he was and started harrassing and threatening him, he tried to defend himself but they had machetes and assaulted him

he was left unrecognizable and was took to the hospital by some citizens, he spent some days hospitalized and then passed away.
TUMACO, NARIÑO: august 22nd, 6 young men were found dead in La Guayacana, a rural area of Tumaco, they were apparently shot and 2 more people disappeared.
