Hawks hurting here
CW: trans!Hawks, #nsfw Hawks/League of Villains, the commission being assholes, but Miruko is great

After the High End Nomu incident, the Commission thinks Hawks isn’t doing enough.
So they give him new orders.

He has to fuck his favor into the League.

He has to trap them in emotional connection.
He has to try trap them with a child to dangle over their heads, and if that fails, the Commission has the back up plan for the long run, another child soldier for them to fight fire with fire.

Hawks feels like throwing up when he receives the orders. He swallows it down.
He feels like throwing up at the thought of even letting those villains know he’s trans, when only Miruko knows besides the Commission.

He forces himself to obey, and the plan put into motion actually works surprisingly well.
But not because of how he’s started letting his eyes and hands wander, his mouth and legs open.

No, it’s because when the fact that he doesn’t have a cock is revealed, he’s hit with a wave of affection, and he gets much more involved in their plans
because they decide to repay his trust with trusting him in turn.

Hawks feels like throwing up as he carefully pokes holes in the condoms he carries around. He swallows it down like all the cum that ended up in his mouth lately.
The Commission has withheld his hormones since his orders were issued. Switched his prescription for fertility boosters even. When he looks in the mirror in the morning the few hairs on his chin are all that can distract him from how he fears his jaw already looks softer.

He’s terrified they’ll notice. That Twice will make a comment about how his thighs feel plushier. That Shigaraki will grab his ass and say it’s plumper. That Dabi will taunt him about his… clit looking smaller.
But they never do.

Even with Hawks dismissing their worries, they’ve never touched his chest after the first time Kurogiri did and he half flinched back.
They know how praise and AMAB terms work much better with him then anything else after the afternoon Spinner spent trying out every little thing he could think of calling him, to make him cum harder than he ever had just from words and light touches.
Hawks breath catches every time Mr Compress asks if he can suck his dick, ad not only because the man’s mouth is magic.

Because it’s nice to hear.
“Congratulations, Hawks, you’re pregnant.”

/That/ is not nice to hear.

Hawks reports back from med bay to the Commission.
They are excited, wondering who the father might be, as Hawks has no clue.

They have a range of days for when conception should have happened. Hawks has fucked all of the League in those days, most of them twice. He thinks, at least. Things have become blurry.
The Commission dismisses him and somehow he finds himself home a while later.

Hawks finally, actually throws up.

He stays on the bathroom floor, tear tracks down his cheeks and blinking into the void, thoughts scattered.
It doesn’t feel true and at the same time it’s much too real already.

Part of his brain tells him to go back to his nest for comfort, another part screams at the idea of a /nest/, at what it implies now.

Hawks doesn’t want this.
He feels like drowning himself in all the alcohol the money he hardly ever touches could buy him.

/Alcohol would be bad for the baby/ his mind whispers.

…Good.
Hawks doubts even hero work could be good for the “baby”. What if he took a hit?… It’s not been discussed yet, but he knows the Commission is gonna take even that away from him.
But really, the thing in him is so little, a little hit would probably be enough. If he fell. If he announced it to the LoV and they got angry and violent…

He knows it won’t happen.
He can’t count on them, on fate, on anyone for this. But he can…

Feathers detach, vibrating in the bathroom. One ends up in Hawks’ hand, sharp as a blade as the others.

By hand? By will alone?
Somehow in his other hand Hawks find his phone, already ringing up Miruko. She picks up, half worried already by the night call.

He thinks it will be difficult to say. He barely feels anything as he lets out the words.

“I’m pregnant.”
Miruko is silent for a second.

Then “Are we getting you to a clinic? Am I about to kick someone’s ass?”

A bark of laughter punches out of Hawks. And another. And soon he’s on his bathroom floor in hysterical giggles and tears and telling her everything.
Miruko listens. When he reaches the end she growls. “We’re getting you out of there.”

Hawks chuckles wetly. “I’m the Commission’s asset. I even have an /extra one/ with me now. They won’t let me go easily.”
“Then they’re going down. Listen, I’m bagging my shit, can you do the same?”

“Heh, maybe? I don’t know, Mimi, where we going?”

“Any place where you can feel safe and are out of the Commission’s reach.”
Hawks snorts. “They know all my safe houses, and the places they don’t reach are few. The LoV maybe? I’m not sure, but –”

“It’ll have to do” Miruko cuts him off, and he can faintly hear her bang things around.
“Listen here, Hawks, I’m coming to get you, alright? Sit up for me?”

She stays on the phone the whole time, directing him to stand and vaguely start collecting a change of clothes, money, documents, and other things she finishes packing up when she gets there.
As the first sunlight peeks over the horizon, they’re both standing in big sweaters and coats and Miruko is ready to break down the door to the LoV hideout if they don’t open it /yesterday/.
Luckily, Kurogiri gets the door, yellow eyes slightly wider than normal as the Number 5 hero pushes past him dragging the Number 2 inside.
Miruko sits Hawks on the couch, startling a Spinner who was sleeping there and nearly got seated on. She drops their stuff around and hunts for the fridge, rummaging and pulling out something that looks like broth.
Kurogiri, who’s gone checking, has the tupperware thrust in the direction of his chest with the order to heat it up. Not knowing what else to do or what’s happening, he obeys.
Miruko returns to Hawks finding most of the League crowding around him and asking what happened, and he’s curling on himself. Miruko notes at least no one tries to touch him while he clearly doesn’t want it.
“Back off, all of you, give him space.” She cuts through them to stand in front of her friend.

Shigaraki comes to face off with her. “What’s the meaning of this?” He’d be more intimidating if he didn’t have Space Invaders pj bottoms.
Miruko takes a deep breath and half regrets it at the smells. Whatever. “Team work might be for losers but I can’t take down the Hero Commission alone. I’m gonna need your help.”

“WHAT? Are you serious? /She’s lying!/” Twice brandishes a teddy bear in her direction.
“I suppose this sudden announcement has to do with Hawks’ less than stellar state?” Mr Compress has a hand in the pocket of silk pajamas, but Miruko doesn’t take it as a relaxed pose. The man could have a dozen weapons in there, marble sized.
She still answers. “Yes, the two things are connected, but it’s his business to tell you how if he wants to. To make it simple, they hurt him, I’ll hurt them. With or without you.”
“We’re gonna kill them all” Toga is dead serious when she says that, which clashes with the file Miruko read. But then the girl turns towards Hawks. “They won’t be able to hurt you no more, Hawksy.”
“Must have been bad for even another /hero/ to defect” Dabi comments, and though the distrust towards her is palpable, he’s not hostile when he looks at Hawks.

“Uhm, I brought the broth, Pro Hero Miruko” Kurogiri crosses the room as dignified as his awkward position allows him.
“Pff, I ain’t gonna be a hero for a while, not in this fucked up system” Miruko takes the bowl to give it to Hawks, who shakes himself.

“You can’t be serious, Rumi! It’s your job, your life, and -!”

“And you’re my friend. And I’ve made up my mind, birdie,
I haven’t worked all these years in the field not to recognize villains when they play the upstanding citizen part. The Commission is rotten, they go down. That’s it.” She shoves the broth at him but still careful not to make it slosh over.
“It’s chicken broth” Kurogiri says, and despite everything Hawks’ lips curl up a little and Miruko thinks she made the right call bringing him here.
Toga tugs on Shigaraki’s sleeve. “Can we keep her?”

Miruko’s ears swivel towards the sound a moment before her head does the same. She raises an eyebrow at the League’s leader.
Shigaraki raises a hand to his neck, but right after the first scratch Hawks says a soft “Hey”.

That’s enough for the man to stop and lower his arm with a sigh.

“Do we need to move?” he asks.
Hawks makes a strange sound. “We should have time before they come looking, but it could be better to move later today.”

Shigaraki doesn’t hide his irritation but just says. “Then we’ll move. Kurogiri, start looking for a place.
We’re not risking anyone of us.” He turns to leave but looks over his shoulder. “That includes you, Hawks.”

He walks away.

“What about bunny girl??” Toga shouts after him.

“TBD!” is shouted back. Like, the actual letters. Miruko half grins.
“Hey” Twice has gotten closer to the couch, talking to Hawks “want a hug? You look like you need it. /We’d love to!/ But only if you want.”

Hawks thinks about it. “Not yet but… maybe later?” He sips the broth to occupy himself.
Twice nods and backs off. But not before offering “Teddy bear? /He’s soft!/”

Hawks actually has a small smile as he nods, two feathers slipping off to gather the offered teddy.

Miruko is even more certain she made the right call.
The next one is all on Hawks, but she’ll be there for him no matter what.

And, she suspects, so will these people.

[ aaand I'm stuck here since I don't know whether or not Hawks should let the pregnancy proceed. He will have love and support regardless and there's gonna be angst either way. But I really don't know. ]
