#studytwt
STUDYTWT EXISTS?????
yes.
WHY TWITTER?
with twitter you can reap the benefits of a fast response system! esp in the time of online classes where your classmates and teachers may not always be readily available, it could be very useful to reach out online for advice, questions, and resources!
BUT I HAVE NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE!
you don’t have to have anything to “contribute” to join! everybody’s here for their own reasons: to find review resources, to ask for college/school advice, to be inspired by other users - and a community cant be helpful without people to help!
BUT MY NOTES ARE UGLY/I DONT HAVE FANCY STATIONERY
studytwt is not solely focused on the aesthetics! of course if that’s what you do, you’re more than free to post! but don’t feel pressured to have nice notes to join studytwt! not everybody even posts photos!
SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS POST?
it depends! everyone posts their own things! some make threads about their study methods, others post their notes, others tweet looking for advice and help with homework, and, of course, students bond over mutual suffering :')
IS IT EFFECTIVE?
studytwt is still a new community, but it all depends on how you use it! but people ARE going around answering questions, threads are being made, resources being shared, it's all a matter of if you actively participate! every study group is what you make of it!
HOW DO I JOIN?
whenever you're ready just post to the #studytwt tag with an introduction and moots will find you! you can include basic info, subjects you can help with, subjects you need help with, + anything else you want to include!
DO I NEED TO MAKE A SEPARATE ACCOUNT?
it's absolutely not a requirement! you're free to post a studytwt intro on your existing account as well! just be mindful that some users are here to stay motivated, and so they may not follow back non-studytwt accs to avoid distractions!
you can also check out our specialized hashtags!
#studytwt is specifically for new members to post their introductions
#askstudytwt is where you can post questions you have about homework/advice etc. or find users who need help
#langtwt is for language learners
#notiontwt is our hashtag to share our notion layouts - a popular note taking app that many studytwt users use!
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
absolutely not! we have users all the way from middle school to postgraduates! of course, users should always be mindful and respectful of other users' boundaries.
