What made me cry today: receiving the 2021 Flashes of Life calendar from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The photos were all taken in the before times of that era. Those pictured had happy lives before the Nazis took control. It's stunning how quickly it all changed.
What made me cry today: Having multiple conversations with people about rescuing dogs earlier, then seeing the music video for Marshmello and Bastille's "Happier," which I got drawn into then was devastated by. Then this tweet: https://twitter.com/mobleywho/status/1300959677530988544
What made me cry today: For some reason seeing this and how beautifully diverse the video is and how people used to be able to enjoy summer... What made me cry today: One of my cats kept jumping on the table, then clawing the couch, and as I was trying to get her to stop doing...everything, I banged my wrist on the coffee table. It swelled up, and while I think it's fine, it was too much. She patted my wrist as I cried.
