So Far Away is a song really precious to my heart, and I was especially blown away by this little detail the first time I found out about it.

The last line in the chorus of So far away is actually directly from a bible verse.
“Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.” It is from the Book of Job, verse 8:7. This version of the verse is most familiar to all of us, as it is used in most of the song translations we've seen.
But the language Yoongi uses himself is the more archaic kind found in the older versions of the Bible. Through this, he close to constructs his own Bible verse, with the sort of language you’d expect to find there.
“even though the beginning may be weak, mayest the end be grand” is from the Book of Job.

There actually could be some tangential relations to the actual events in the Book of Job and how Yoongi might’ve viewed his own intense struggle at the time.
Additionally - there's this first line

"I will be with thee in thy birth and the end of thy life" or seen again as "I'll be with you, for your birth and your end."

You probably recognize it.
It is one he used again that same year in First Love, and then again in Song Request years later. But in typical Yoongi fashion - with the meaning of the line altered each time it is used.
In First Love its the piano speaking to him, and knowing the connotations of this chorus, it almost seems as if music is what takes the place of that comforting, higher presence in his life. It has to be so dear and precious to him its almost spiritual.
He uses it again in Song Request, but this time it’s not music speaking to him - its to us as listeners. Each shape and comforting form music can take, as it journeys with us from beginning to end. It’s such a beautiful sentiment.
Finally, Happy fourth anniversary to one of the most beautiful songs ever made, and one of the most moving, honest and touching mixtapes ever released. I look forward to many more years together with Yoongi and his music.
