Veganism is all about love and care (including on the basis of "self-sacrifice" at times). And if you choose to see racism, elitism, ableism and cashews, well, that's about you, not veganism. It's more than possible to be vegan on a budget in most (yet not all) of the countries. https://twitter.com/zythepsary/status/1294562558419009537
And I'm not saying, that we should judge those who can not afford to be vegan, all of us should be more caring and responsible for our mother nature and each other, so that more people have a chance to choose, be conscious, mindful and responsible.
Me being vegan in Armenia and me being vegan in Norway are almost two different personalities, because of my financial income, availability of the supplies (from food to hygiene etc.) yet I try my best, and I acknowledge how privilledged I am to stay vegan.
And the thing is what we do with our privilege? I do raise awareness, I share my food and I respect the choices people around me make (even though they are extremely painful at times). What you do?
Yes, some can not afford to be vegan even on a budget, yet that's not the case for most of the time. Think about that. And generalizing and labeling veganism as racism, elitism, etc is either the result of a lack of awareness or unreasonable aggression․
