It’s the same with race. It sounds sad to say but I’m not surprised when I encounter instances of sexism and racism; what’s even sadder is that it’s expected. The only way I get through it, is to focus on my work and what it is I love to do #ItCanBe #LetsPush

We know that excellence isnt the cure for discrimination but the only defense I have is the quality of the work I produce. It’s the only effective retort I have for people who don’t expect much from me. It speaks on my behalf when im not there to defend myself. #ItCanBe #LetsPush

Society is resentful of women leaders and this makes us want to lower our voices and take a step back to avoid resentment. In my experience, I regret the times I didn’t speak more than the times I said too much. #ItCanBe #LetsPush
