#VJDay As you morn/give thanks to all those who lost their lives prematurely due to ww2, please also mourn/give thanks to all those who survived with debilitation that caused unimaginable suffering, And also please mourn/give thanks to everyone the victims knew/did not know.

Consider also Nagasaki and Hiroshima where atom bombs were used in anger so far the only time on the unsuspecting civilian population, men, women and children of all ages. Imagine the total disintegration of those who mercifully had only fractions of a second to suffer...

Then those who further away who were ripped apart by the blast wave within fractions of a second as it travelled outward in all directions. The most suffering was caused further away by radiation sickness and burns over their entire fragile bodies before succumbing....

to this terrible weapon of mass destruction. Even these poor victims were mercifully dead before long so did not suffer in unimaginable pain as long as the rest of the victims further away from the centre of the blast. Victims suffered and died prematurely with DNA mutations...

and burns caused by the radiation/heat and still today it is claiming victims! The greatest single loss of life in the shortest time and a legacy of mutations, as I say still suffered today. Yes the Japanese soldiers at the behest of their emperor were incredibly brutal zealots..

And deserve our aberration, however we must if we have empathy and with hindsight agree that all loss of life prematurely is a tragedy not to be repeated for ideals and or for assets. Yet apart from the use of atomic or nuclear weapons the same tragedies have occurred....

With different locations and actors but for the same basic reason wars have been fought since the first tribe attacked its neighbouring tribe, this probably occurred before we evolved from apes. Aeon,s later we are committing the same acts and causing the premature ...

Deaths in the human race that we are members of. Is it not time to put aside petty differences and greed for the sake of all and live in harmony as one peoples with one shared aim to coexist in mutual aid offering what we can to our ability and taking only that which is needed...
