This thread is intended to strengthen our resolve. This is the hard part I have been putting off for a few weeks. Imagine, being 3 years old and thrown into a van or car. Terrified. Mouth taped shut. All you know how to do is scream for help, tears filling your terror filled eyes

Beat and knocked out. Wake up alone in the dark. You frantically search for something familiar. All you want is your favorite blanket or teddy bear. Anything. Nothing smells or sounds familiar. You reach and touch something soft. You clutch it, it’ll work for now. A door opens.

This is repeated until you are just a shell of yourself. Intense pain interrupts your thoughts of your home, your toys,friends,your room. Eyes are swelling shut now. Your body cannot stop shaking. The men laugh and you are forced to watch as they do the same with another toddler.

This is a basic, simplified, and short scenario of what can happen to our children. We are directly in the face of evil. They outnumber us because so many choose to say “that’s awful” and turn away. I can’t. I have hardly slept for a week now, thinking of how to do this thread.

It’s disturbing to think of, and to put yourself in their shoes and really imagine what they go through. It’s tough. Prayer can help. People will pray in different ways. Doesn’t matter. Pray directly from your heart and mind and just lay it all out.

Praying in a personal way will help to establish a relationship with God. Just open up. Pray for each other. Others respond to this in different ways, can’t even mention the subject. The rest of us need to remember how those children feel. They are waiting to be rescued.
