Watching the East2West covers of Monster - the neck hold must be very dangerous? Neither the girls nor boys group did it. I figured it was hard but did not know it was that hard!
Watching Seulgi and Irene do it in slow-mo, it looks like they might do a safer version of the move where Irene also holds onto Seulgi& #39;s shoulder? IDK, I clearly do not know enough about dance and no longer know dancers. Time to look on YouTube for answers

This looks doable as long as both have strong thighs and core (and non shitty wrists) his arm is probably up a little more than "ideal" but also safety!!! And no I cannot do this my brain is just currently like *zooms in*

Another group did a "false" neck hold where the Irene dancer just bent backwards and supported herself, and another group did the support but at nearly 90 degrees and awkward footwork. It must be super hard to not only do well, but do fast.
I hope this thread doesn& #39;t seem too demeaning. It is interesting to me to see the places where people have difficulty because it can express where and how challenges were met, problems were solved, and gives insight to the effort that goes into making any kind of art.
Especially coming from outside the medium... Always interesting to see where pain points can be in places. It would be even more fascinating to learn about the move from dancers! Hope I can find that. (So far I& #39;ve just seen that usually men hold women& #39;s necks with this move)
*also, not nearly 90, more like nearly 180, probably 160, not very bent basically
