op states that as an nb wlw they speak from an LGBT experience but as a pan nb trans person i don't feel represented or acknowledged as a writer OR a queer person in this thread.
i think the intention is well-meaning but the thread inherently erases bi/pan as well as many nb and trans identities and therefore the thread is inherently flawed.
conversations about fetishization need to have more nuance than this. yes, even on an introductory level. yes, even when speaking to allies. this isn't a thread that benefits lgbtqa people as a whole.
stop hiring the good intentions paving company to make your slideshows and actually consider, deeply, that lgbtqa people are more than mlm and wlw and that there is a lot more grey than you might initially realize.
again, i think there's a lot here that's good! but it's also a deeply and fundamentally flawed thread that erases and i'd argue harms many lgbtqa people.
