I am absolutely sick and tired of seeing tweets and dms putting carson down for his alledged lack of comedic talent. Carson is one of if not the funniest person I know. Carson believes himself to be unfunny. I think this is a very common take as I don’t think I am either...

However, not me, nor most other people have faced the reinforcement of such a notion from outside sources to such an extent and intense concentration as carson has. The worst part is this notion is false. Carson is plenty funny on his own...

however his comedic value is amplifed further when he has another person to work off of. I find myself in a similar situation, I believe myself to be far less entertaining on a stream on my lonesome than I am when I am talking to carson, as he is my outlet for bouncing jokes off.

The constant ridicule by his supposed fanbase has rendered himself so unconfident in his abilities, that I believe it to be the reason he maximizes the screentime of his friends and minimizes that of himself, which further perpetuates the notion of his lack of talent.

I am sure than any person who has seen carson’s streams with his friends that he is perfectly capable of holding his own, coming up with bits, and working off of others in his own fashion. The idea of him being nothing more than a funny laugh comes purely from the skewed image...

portrayed by his videos wherein his presence is minimalized. It is reinforced to an extent by his single streams, which tend to be more mellow and outside of his comfort zone, however he still manages to be funny on his own, playing off of either chat or the game for material...

which is far more than what could be said for many content creators who are genuinely reliant on the talents of others to make up for their own. In conclusion, quit being a dickhead.
