People who write against Modi & co, and the fascist coterie could have seen abuses against them have increased off late. Thousands of handles like these are being opened up from January 2020, as part of @RSSorg strategy. 1/n

This is one such handle. Whenever you see an abusive reply to your tweet, just take a cursory look & you can see handles like this. These handles won't carry Modi image as DP, but, Rajinikanth, Hanuman, Bharat Mata, Vijay, Ajith, etc. They come in hordes. 2/n

This happens in Facebook too. In most of these handles, the followers will be less than 100. Block such handles mercilessly. One can say, 'I don't bother about replies' But this is a wrong strategy. Plenty of abusive comments will dissuade genuine people from opining. 3/n

Seeing replies to tweets in filthy language, sane people will stay away from reacting to tweets. When genuine handles start staying away from your tweets, traction to your tweets gets reduced and the purpose of your tweeting itself gets defeated. 4/n

The intention of these bullies, bots is to demoralise you, break your will and ensure you stay away from social media. Particularly the attacks of the right wing trolls on women folks is always below the belt and sick. 5/n

If anyone had noticed, attacks on journalists who write about TN has increased manifold. Only reason is to deter them from writing on TN elections, TNBJP, & connected matters. What we can infer from such concentrated attack on TN journalists is, 6/n

that the @RSSorg & allies, understand opinion of TN journalists do matter and they have the potency to influence common people. Most of these abusive handles / bots are being run by @CTR_Nirmalkumar TN BJP's IT wing chief. 7/n

The method of functioning of these right wing trolls has been well documented by @bainjal in her book, "I am a troll". We are witnessing the concentrated attack in TN now owing to 2021 polls. Senior journalist @RKRadhakrishn too fell for one such bot. 8/n

This is how fascism functions. Let us understand this and deal with such attacks smartly. The fight against fascism is long and hard. However hard it is, the fight should go on.
