@ESPN's Real Plus Minus stat suggests that Trae is the worst defensive player in basketball. He's not good by any stretch. Folks should also appreciate / be dismayed by the wretched defense played by his teammates
And likewise be encouraged by the addition of Clint Capela, who in the last three seasons (per 36 min.) averaged 2.0 blocks, 14.2 rebounds, and 0.9 steals.
