fuck it. Gonbee Yabusame is trans and heres why (thread)

before i do this i just wanna say, im not trying to say like "oh you need proof for a character to be trans :/" or "trans characters have to look/act/whatever this way!!", this thread is bascially shit ive seen of gonbee that i either relate to, or just give me That Vibe

you dont need proof for a character to be trans, headcanon whoever you want!! this is just what ive noticed from gonbee that i think are neat

ANYWAYS FIRST ONE he tells everyone his name is Gonbee when they first meet, but later on they figure out his "real name" is Alice. that is. literally his dead name lmao.

They call him Alice for the rest of the game. He stays by himself for a majority of the game, is kinda mean to everyone, and was also reluctant to tell everyone his "real name" was Alice. if a whole group of people started calling me by my dead name after i told them, id be-

NEXT TOPIC a ton of his sprites have him holding his shirt. i tend to do this when im wearing tight shirts so that it's harder to see my chest, i like to think hes doing the same thing :o

topic 3 he LITERALLY SAYS (i forget where but i know he does) that his parents "raised him as a daughter" and raised reko as a "son" like?? THATS ACTUALLY CANON???? HES LITERALLY CANONLY TRANS.

topic 4 he has some beta sprites that literally look like if someone took gonbee and made a genderswap of him. this technically has nothing to do with canon but i like to think thats pre transition gonbee

TOPIC 5 !! i forget where it says this but apparently he slips into a higher pitched voice sometimes? also sometimes people use she/her on him like,,,, Yeah Me Too Man
