PHIL FODEN: A Thread.

#DraftPL darling, Phil Foden has managers like https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤤" title="Sabberndes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Sabberndes Gesicht"> after his performances in the PL restart. Let& #39;s take a gander at the youngster& #39;s numbers and see what we find out.

(ALL "POINTS" REFER TO @FantraxEPL DEFAULT SCORING)
When Foden starts, you start him? That& #39;s a fairly decent tactic, right? As with any of your Man City assets. If they& #39;s in Pep& #39;s XI, they& #39;re in your fantasy XI.
When Phil starts: 13.7 ppg (with 2 games of 27 and 28 pts)
Starts: 9

Nice. You& #39;d have done well those 9 games.
When Phil comes off the bench: 3.32 ppg (with 2 games of 14.5 and 13 pts)
Apps off the bench: 14

So, you& #39;re not playing him as a super sub, ESPECIALLY with 3 subs instead of 5.
When Phil is in the 18 and either comes in as a sub or doesn& #39;t play at all: 1.66 ppg.
Apps off the bench: 14
No minutes, but in the 18: 14

So, if he doesn& #39;t start, YOU& #39;RE DEFINITELY NOT PLAYING HIM AS A SUPER SUB!
Now, to address your argument that everything has changed now that D. Silva is gone and Pep has already said that he doesn& #39;t need to replace Dilva because he has Phil and Phil is supposedly the best young footballer Pep has ever seen and......
Yes, I do believe that he& #39;ll start more matches. Yes, I do believe that he& #39;ll do well in many of those matches. But even in matches he started, you& #39;re expecting 12 and ecstatic if he goes for 25. And in the 11-15 matches he doesn& #39;t start, we& #39;ve established you can& #39;t play him.
My point is this:
A cautious drafter will look at Bilva last year and take heed. We& #39;re all excited about Foden& #39;s future. But.... top of the 3rd???? 2nd tier MID????

Yikes. Not for me, thanks.
