When I was much younger, we went to @nyjets training camp practice and got autographs from the guys as they were leaving the locker room. They were on the other side of the fence and fans would toss jerseys and footballs over and get em signed. https://twitter.com/waynechrebet/status/1294305321645740034
Wayne was leaving with his wife and young child, so didn’t stop to swing by fans, understandably.

It just so happened that as we were driving out of the area, we got to a red light right next to Wayne.

We hung up our Jets gear and a sharpie and he signaled for us to hop in.
We opened our door and his wife opened theirs and we got into his SUV at this red light to have our gear signed.

I got a visor signed and my brother was wearing his @waynechrebet jersey.
My brother refused to take his jersey off to get signed and eventually the light turned green and we said thank you and went back into my dad’s car and drove off.
When we pressed my brother on why he didn’t take it off to get it signed, he said he was embarrassed to take his shirt off in front of a girl lmao!!!
Wayne was awesome throughout the whole thing and gave us one of the coolest stories we have.

He’s a legend and one of my family’s favorite players to watch. Years later, we still have his jersey sans signature.
