Getting down so smoothly and effortlessly really does take a certain amount of faith. With certain moves in dance, you just have to GO FOR IT and trust that all your training and conditioning up until that point will pay off. #JIMIN knows exactly what his body can do.
Look how early and high up he was in the drop when he kicked out that front heel. That’s the point of no return - as soon as that heel is flexed, he doesn’t have any more grip or purchase. He just trusts the fall and knows how to land without hurting himself. #JIMIN @BTS_twt
And you of course need a certain flexibility to achieve a good jazz split. Not only does it stretch the hamstrings in the front leg, but it also tests the inner thigh muscles and the hip flexibility of your back leg. #JIMIN @BTS_twt
Consider that dancers often have weaker flexibility in their left leg than their right, much like the majority of people are right-handed as opposed to left. And yet Jimin always seems comfortable on both sides. #JIMIN @BTS_twt
Finally, dropping into a jazz split with such flair is already impressive, but then the speed with which he always gets back up is incredible. And with the added arm motion, he makes it look like he’s being pulled up by his puppet strings again. Poetry in motion. #JIMIN @BTS_twt
