First off this intro: the transition from Yeosang to Yunho! & the way the members interweave to change formations! Such a powerful way to start off a dance performance.

Look at the way they all do that arm flick. Starting the movement from their back & leading it through their elbow to the flick makes the movements have a bigger effect! Also a nice effect to make Yunho, San, & Woo’s solo/movement’s more highlighted.

That smooth transition from the line to the diagonal!! I noticed during the live performances, the members all hit a different emotion & it’s such a powerful effect! Also CIRCLE FORMATION!! 8 makes 1 team!

I LOVE the power behind these movements. It’s a soft movement but the pop & control behind the execution makes its seem so much more powerful visually!

Now we’ve reached a bit of a build up in the choreo!! (Can we appreciate Jongho’s vocals not bouncing during that jumpy footwork?) the song itself speaks of longing & this part in the choreo also envokes that emotion. The members also play it up perfectly with their performance!

^^ one thing I want to add to the above it that move is where they all hop to one leg & literally suspend in the air while also melting into the movement! The control they have is UNREAL

The inhuman noises I made when I first watched this part when watching fancams of each member, look closely at the emotions they portray. Not only is the movement beautiful, but envoking a sense of longing & pain which when added with the way each member brings facials...

FOOTWORK LOOK AT THAT FOOTWORK!! I love that they brought the dance break into the middle of the choreo! Give me footwork dance break any day I’ll be happy

YEOSANG SOLO YEOSANG FRONT & CENTER!! This man is SO good at detail! Down to his isolations, finger movements, body placement, & can we just talk about how his looks like he’s FLOATING while doing that floorwork??

^^I cannot stress enough just how incredible this part is & much I’d watch this section on repeat. Floorwork is hard enough & to do that transition spin he did & make it look THAT effortless?? He is amazing.

I love the contrast of Mingi’s movements downwards to the other members accent up. It’s a super cool visual affect for a viewer. Also, Mingi’s solo here plays the perfect role of building anticipation in an audience. He is so good at his performance & engagement when he raps!

1) Sam almost floating mid air sustaining that jump!!
2) the call & response movements of each group before they transition back into one group
3) when they all defy gravity

DEFYING GRAVITY

So if you look closely, they all do this technique in which they sort of “stop” or “halt” their smooth movements. This is a technique in body control that really has a nice visual effect. Especially for a performance on a big stage because it enhances the movements.

This transition watch Mingi basically levitate on his foot. That’s suspension is !! & Seonghwa’s leap!! Executed so elegantly! & each member’s isolations just make it so powerful!!

AAAHHHHHHHHH!!! This whole section is just the perfect way to bring a viewer to the edge of their seat!! The build of anticipation through transitions & movements!

THIS MOMENT!! -this is where we get to see each member bring a emotion & stage presence at full force! There’s no movements, just pure emotion in stage presence! & not just in their faces but also the way they hold their poses & bodies! This part I truly feel the pain & longing++

++of the song & lyrics, my heart aches right with them in this moment!! It’s just so beautifully portrayed by each member!! Srsly go watch each member’s fancams & pay special attention to their facial expressions!!

This ending...I cannot begin to describe just how powerful it is. Woo’s initial pop that triggers the slow fall, those floor spins onto that floor part!! The vocals happening at the same time...don’t mind me sobbing rn...

I can’t even begin to explain how much I am in love with this choreography! @ATEEZofficial take this contemporary fusion style to a whole nother level of beauty that’s just unique & captivating. When I dreamed about them doing this kind of style I knew it would be amazing ++

++ and of course the exceeded my already high expectations!! I will never get over it. EVER!! Such beauty
