the thing about "invisible string," which may now be my favorite taylor swift song, is how many down notes there are on a song that, on paper, sounds so peacefully lovely. then i realized it has a sonic and written brilliance that works in many different ways and emotions.
it feels like the song transcends time. she writes of the love she has finally found and the heaven it brings, but also from the POV of feeling lost without your other half. when she asks, "isn& #39;t it just so pretty?" there& #39;s a love and a really sad cynicism that exist together.
give taylor her things when they are due, period.
