Okay finally for tonight's Twitter picnic, we've got cake and sandwiches, so what's your fave savoury portable snack?
I'm going to kick off with a homemade haggis-encased scotch egg, orange semisoft yolk, with a mustard and black pepper mayo for dipping it in, big as my fist. I'll take two thanks (I made these one Burns Night, I'll find the recipe again in one of my notebooks one day!)
Oh wait, maybe a pickled egg dropped into a bag of smashed up Frazzles, and shaken to coat it all over
Also a strong contender: the absolutely giant and generously stuffed samosas from the shop inside Stratford underground station opposite the Jubilee Line platforms, that they'll heat up to piping hot at no extra charge.
