BEWARE: @/raverneonlight
Backing out of agreed sales, grossly unprofessional, manipulative, time waster. I'm not a fan of "callouts" but I want my peers to be aware of the difficulty of working with this individual and to reconsider working with them at any juncture in the future
Raver has been trying to sell a suit I made, for weeks. A recent sale attempt fell through so I inquired if we could arrange to have the partial sold to a client of mine so I could finish it off with a new bodysuit. We agreed to 24 hrs to be sure no one else came forward.
Payment is arranged and sent immediately. The sale has been made, but for some reason Raver keeps the sale post up on Twitter. Only 20 minutes after the sale has been finalized do they message me to tell me they are going to refund and sell for more money, to someone else.
They continue to argue that they need to do this because they are "not doing well" - wasting my time, my client's time, and embarrassing me to try and flip a creation I put a lot of love into, for profit. Do as you will with your property but do not involve -me-.
I am not shy to speak up when I feel I am being taken advantage of. I've worked very hard to maintain a professional business image and experience. This individual is absolutely not worth ANY of my peers' time or energy, and you will have a DIFFICULT time making a sale.
I know my peers have had difficulties working w/Raver. I know that they buy and resell fursuits very often. This is my only experience working with them and it will absolutely be my last. Thanks for reading and be mindful of the reputation of whomever you're looking to work with.
Thanks for sharing any of your similar experiences here. I hope that you can find the confidence to face your issues with this individual yourself knowing you aren't alone in it. Sorry, too many replies. Be well!
I've gotten a LOT of replies to this, I'm sorry that I can't answer! I especially can't give you any personalized advice. :( Sucks to see such a widespread issue with this individual either way!
