I& #39;m back with another off the cuff album review .
I& #39;ll try and not go on for hours as this band my first band I could go and see play live and they were my first Gig at the age of 16 .
A lifer changer indeed .
They were my band .
And this album although not my favourite is thier

Within 3 years of being an unknown band in the U.K. Rush were in the top 20 with this song and with Zep coming to an end ,Rush were the Rulers of Rock in the U.K and this song

Became an anthem and a much loved live track .
A straight no nonsense rock song with an fantastic opening and the tribute to Radio & then that section of a twist of lyrics to Simon & Garfunkel& #39;s Sound of Silence and a reggae beat ! .

A much loved song of mine and just a perfect song, the lyrics and musicianship is just precision and then the keyboard melts into a guitar and Bass duo which takes you back to By Tor & The Snow Dog .
Absolutely brilliant.

Written by Geddy and not the maestro on the drums.
Geddy& #39;s vocals are just perfect and that simplistic guitar from Alex at the end .

Neil Peart wrote some incredible lyrics , but this one .

When I heard this , I spent many hours trying to learn the whole bloody song .
As much as Cygnus book 2 blows your mind and La Villa Strangiato really blows your socks off the musicianship on this is as Neil says

A pattern so grand and complex .
Rush hit their peak on this track for me , never to be bettered .

Rush did so many brilliant albums. they were an incredible talent.
3 musicians who all were perfectionists.
They really pulled out all the stops when they came to record this album , they moved on from the Prog grandiose to the hyperspace of genius .
