The pattern with Black men in Toronto is dating white women and 1/18th Black women religiously. They love them out loud, take them on creative dates, show them a terrific time. They steal romantic ideas from Black women and apply it to their non-black partners.
Then these same Black men dye their hair, pretend to love their Black moms and Black women online because support from us goes a long way for their brands and reputation. It’s LONG. I feel like this is deception like when we uncovered the actors of The Best Man were...yeah.
Everytime I step out my house, or log on to social media. It’s Black men and non-black women aesthetic. You can tell me it’s none of my business all you want, but that constant representation gets to dark skin Black women. It’s draining to ignore that, Idgaf what you say.
We save the talk for group chats and drink dates because being vulnerable about this is forbidden. We automatically become bitter and more undesirable. Imagine thinking a man is cute, only to find out you’re not his type bc you’re the SAME ethnicity or complexion as him. Chile...
