i know that being a writer means that you create stories and characters & you have complete freedom to do what you want with them & you don& #39;t have to apologize for your creative decisions bc it& #39;s YOUR story BUT the problem is when you bait your audience &

you let them believe that you actually care about a certain character/ship when it fact you really don& #39;t. you let a certain group of fans feel like their opinion matters and that you care about their feelings when in fact you absolutely don& #39;t.

so for me here lies the problem with the a*s finale. the ph*linda fandom was awesome and super convenient when they had a loud voice during the renewal campaign but as soon as the producers got what they wanted whenever someone brought up ph*linda they were like

which is super frustrating and sad and unfair.

if they didn& #39;t want them to end up together, then they should& #39;ve made it COMPLETELY CLEAR from the beginning that they& #39;re only friends but they gave us SHE MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME // YOU MEAN A LOT TO ME. A LOT etc etc

and in retrospect what was the point??? he is dead, she is alone, without the family she deserved to have.

anyways, this is only my opinion and PLEASE ignore it if you don& #39;t agree with me and just let me be bitter for as long as i& #39;d like to be.
