Arsenal fans, would you take James at the club?

I think it’s a risky transfer as he is a very hit or miss player depending on the manager. The premier league is very demanding physically which is not his strong point but I think Arteta can get the best out of him.

Here are his stats for the 14/15 season where he played in his preferred position as a number 10 under Ancelotti and for 17/18 in more of a number 8 role. As you can see, he offers a lot of goal contributions from midfield which has been a weak point for us this season.

A worrying sign however, is his injury record which led to him eventually falling out of favor at both Madrid and Bayern. With the arrival of Bruno Mazziotti, James has a physio of the highest quality at Arsenal to prevent him from getting injured time and time again.

In conclusion, the signing of James could prove to be really fruitful at Arsenal if he has the manager’s trust and manages to stay fit.
