I left @UKLabour over anti-Semitism two years ago. I am now rejoining.
I wrote this piece so I could give my honest thoughts and feelings about it all. https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/staggers/2020/08/i-left-labour-over-anti-semitism-im-rejoining-heavy-heart

I still believe that Labour has a problem with anti-Semitism. What’s changed is that I no longer feel obliged to step away.
I never wish to have my political activity dictated to me by anyone else for a moment longer than absolutely necessary. I have always been Labour. To be kept from my natural political home - during times of immense political upheaval - has been wrenching.
As I say in the piece, many of my Jewish friends won’t be there yet. Some will never be. And Labour should never stop trying to win them back anyway. Not because of elections or appearances but because it is the morally right thing to do.
