Hey @Google . I hope you have an army of PMs observing what the practical application of your Google Classroom product looks like. I think there is a lot of room for improvement.
Some unsolicited thoughts for you @zachyeskel.

1. Teacher only Classroom View in Hangouts. A locked view in which a student is perm locked to a grid position. A teacher at a glance can see who is logged in. ...
... The teacher than can call on people "in order" and even note via overlay who they've called on.

2. Hangouts + Classroom split screen: I watched a teacher try to have students follow along on a screen share in which the 1st step was to navigate on another tab. Instead ...
... of a "new tab". It would be nice to open a new frame(?) where students could follow and keep the hangout in view.

3. Folders or nested threads via Stream : Add some organization to the stream view so that teachers can control the view. Now stream is "most recent first"...
... This makes for the need to scroll down for a "start of the morning" post. There's also no easy delineation between daily tasks/agenda on stream view.
*I'm just a cartoonist, that happens to work in exec leadership ranks and is surrounded by incredible product teams. thanks for listening @zachyeskel . Shoot me a DM if you want to talk about Classroom or cartoons.
ps. I'm watching a 2nd grade classroom... in my living room. Don't worry, I'll keep dropping my thoughts in this thread. (I know the #googleedu team was nervous that I would stop flow of solid gold product innovation ideas.) haha
