2/7 First, we will launch our summary of the two ‘Transforming mental health social work’ seminars we held in February 2020. This will be available from Late August & summarise the issues & work needed to support social workers & AMHPs with links to videos & photos of the events.
3/7 in 2019 we commissioned our friends at @NHSBenchmarking to explore the number and employment of social workers mental health and we are also very grateful to @yorkuniversity for supporting this. We will be launching this important research at the webinar on sept 8th
4/7 @NHS_HealthEdEng have worked with us to produce some great videos of MH Leaders, AMHPs & MH Social Workers talking about the vital role of social work and how to value & support the profession. These will all be freely available on the HEE website & YouTube site on Sept 8th.
5/7 We have worked with the AMHP leads network the @NHS_HealthEdEng e learning dept & @AMHPness to develop a multimedia AMHP E Learning product - useful for pre AMHP training & agencies who work with AMHPs. We will also introduce the support tools for the AMHP service standards
6/7 finally - we have commissioned a report to explore the current situation for MH forensic social work across LAs, the NHS and independent sector to help us support and develop this important part of the profession. This will be discussed & launched at the sept 8th webinar
7/7 the details of the sept 30th webinar will be released later, but this will review our work to develop trauma informed social work, the approved clinician role & our work on supporting social workers employed within integrated teams. That’s it! See you in September!😀
