So we figured we would do is this: get the baby a passport so that I can go back to Ireland with them. Seems simple enough right? Oh, except ireland closed their borders to the US bc people don’t know how to quarantine & getting a US passport takes up to 3-6 months right now.

We could’ve had the passport applied for and squared away by now, but vital statistics in ATX messed up on our birth certificate, which led to a 3 week delay in being able to apply for my sons passport. #FamilyIsEssential #LoveIsNotTourism #LoveIsEssential @SecPompeo @tedcruz

It’s looking like my fiancé will be forced to return to Ireland in October without me & our baby for ANOTHER an indefinite amount of time. All because we are having to depend on people who don’t properly fulfill their jobs & accountability is at an all time low. #LoveIsNotTourism

At what point do we start to take matters into our own hands? My baby could get an Irish passport faster, but we were told CBP may not like that we took the faster route to get him an Irish passport...but if they’d process passports in a timely manner we wouldn’t have to.

We spoke with our lawyer as well about the k-1 visa: she advised us to stick with the k-1 since everyone is panicking and switching to a spousal visa. But if we stick with the k-1 which we’ve already paid for, WE CANT GET MARRIED UNTIL THEY #resumek1visas

I have lost all faith in American politics. I do not believe for one second that any of these people care about America or its citizens. Republicans and democrats alike are all only concerned about lining their own pockets & self service. I’m ashamed of our two party disaster.
