These regs remove Aruba, France, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, & Turks & Caicos Islands from the list of exempt countries and territories from which passengers
arriving in England are not required to self-isolate on arrival. #SIWatch (2/5)

These regulations were made (signed) by the Sec of State @grantshapps at 11:54am & laid before Parliament at 3pm today (14 Aug) and will come into force at 04:00am tomorrow Sat 15 August using powers in the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 (3/5)

Of 144 Covid-related Statutory Instruments (SIs) subject to the negative scrutiny procedure this is the 105th to breach the convention that wherever possible such an SI is laid before Parliament at least 21 calendar days before it comes into effect #SIWatch (4/5)
